A new venue, a new record of guests who joined us! New questions and new openings for exploration – that's the spirit of the Open-Minded Meetings.
The 11th Open-Minded Meeting occurred last Wednesday, June 25th in the East Annex hall of the Platform Calgary. We are proud to say that it was a memorable experience.
It was a friendly conversation and a warm atmosphere in our well-known circle format. We were laughing, dreaming, and trying to remember the most embarrassing childhood photo we still can't escape. Do you remember such kind of photo? We guess - yes!
But the real focus was on delving into the fascinating world within our heads. We explored and discussed fears – those things that can hold us back and destroy confidence, belief, and aspirations. Attendees delved into topics like conquering fears, mastering the art of self-introduction, and even exploring the mind tricks!
A special thanks to our amazing guest and speaker Kate Semeniuk, an expert specializing in anxiety, fears, and panic attacks.
Hot topics that have an impact on our waking lives. We explored how to avoid self-blame after a setback, and instead, analyze it constructively to solve problems and achieve success.
Here's a powerful quote from Kate to remember: "You are never a failure, it’s the plan that didn’t work out." To achieve success, use this formula: (Time Management + Skills + Performance) * Confidence
Still wondering if you should join us?
Open-Minded Meetings offer a unique space for exploration and connection, using the "soft networking" model implemented by the event organizer Anatolii Melnyk to break down any barriers to first acquaintance and to improve communication between people.
We want to thank everyone who joined us for this amazing event! Special thanks to Platform Calgary for the incredible venue for 11th meeting. Keep an eye out for announcements about the next one. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with other freethinkers and curious minds!
